Prague, New Railway Link of Prague-Main Station – Prague-Libeň, Railway Viaduct over Masaryk Railway Station

Four- to five track railway bridge of 12 spans of 31,5 m to 40,0 m, with a very skew crossing (21 degrees) with a four-lane street and with high aesthetical requirements due to the position on the border of the Prague historical center. Total length of the bridge is 441,0 m. A continuous superstructure, which combines cast-in-situ concrete and precast concrete elements. The structure is prestressed in the longitudinal, transverse and locally also in the vertical direction.

Conceptual design of the superstructure, responsible for the final structural design of the superstructure.

Responsible designer of the whole bridge was Karel Štěrba, Sudop Praha J.S.C. Architectural design was made by Patrik Kotas and Petr Šafránek.

Design 2003 – 2006, construction 2005 – 2009.
