Ostrov, motorway bridge over a railway line

The motorway bridge is composed of two parallel structures of five spans of 27,0 to 45,0 m and of a total length of 192,0 m. The superstructure is continuous steel – concrete composite. Each of the two parallel structures has two steel welded girders with an I – shaped cross section of the height of 1,8 m with cross beams and a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete composite deck slab with haunches of a maximum thickness of 0,4 m.
Conceptual to final design. Responsible designer and structural analysis.
Design 2002 – 2005, construction 2003 – 2005. The first structure of such a type built in the Czech Republic.
The design was elaborated during previous employment (Sudop Praha J.S.C.).
