The patent is focused on load-bearing structures of bridges and other buildings (large-span halls etc.) built of precast elements, which are manufactured of high-performance (HPC) or ultrahigh-performance (UHPC, UHPFRC) concrete. Principal parts of the structures are longitudinal segmental beams, which are added by other elements (cross beams, deck slabs).
The advantages of such a system are small dimensions and low self-weight of the elements and consequently their easy transport and assembly of structures, including cases in difficult conditions, e.g. in places with a limited space. Owing to the use of high-quality materials, long durability and low maintenance costs can be supposed.
