System of concrete precast elements for bridge structures – Czech Patent No. 308645

The patent is focused on load-bearing structures of bridges and other buildings (large-span halls etc.) built of precast elements, which are manufactured of high-performance (HPC) or ultrahigh-performance (UHPC, UHPFRC) concrete. Principal parts of the structures are longitudinal segmental beams, which are added by other elements (cross beams, deck slabs).
The advantages of such a system are small dimensions and low self-weight of the elements and consequently their easy transport and assembly of structures, including cases in difficult conditions, e.g. in places with a limited space. Owing to the use of high-quality materials, long durability and low maintenance costs can be supposed.
Cooperation Lukáš Kaprálek, administration Lenka Bobková.
Elaborated during previous employment (Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague).
