The research project, elaborated for the National Railway Authority, was focused on verification of reliability of railway prestressed concrete bridges. The project included detail visual inspections of 43 bridges made of various types of precast prestressed concrete girders as well as bridges with a cast-in-situ presstressed concrete superstructure, and the diagnostics and calculations for determination of a load-bearing capacity of five of them.
Own activity – visual inspections of all bridges, programme of the diagnostics, calculations of load-bearing capacities of structures.
The project was elaborated during previous employment (Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague).
