Tábor, footbridge over a railway line

The superstructure of the footbridge is composed of two principal parts – above the free terrain, there is a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete ramp and a staircase, while above the railway line, a steel-concrete composite structure is used to minimize interruptions of the railway traffic during construction of the footbridge. The composite structure is composed of a steel box girder and a reinforced concrete composite deck slab, at which its lower half of the depth is composed of precast panels with truss reinforcement and the upper half of the depth is cast-in-situ. Intermediate supports are made of steel tubes fixed to the superstructure, bearings are used only at the end abutments.
Conceptual to final design 2005 – 2006, construction 2007 – 2008.
